OwlCrate definitely delivered the spooky, autumnal box of our dreams this September! Every item perfectly captures the season with nods to Hocus Pocus, The Raven, and everyone’s seasonal favourite … pumpkin spice. Here’s what was inside:

The mega talented Michelle Gray (the lovely lady behind all OwlCrate and OwlCrate Jr special packaging) designed this amazing flannel blanket which features the full text of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven with many glorious ravens and raven feathers throughout. It is absolutely stunning, so soft, such high quality and I adore it. Now if only I could pry it away from my hubby and daughter …

Skull Shaped Coffee Spoons. These little coffee spoons are so stinking cute and so very clever. Being a major coffee + almond creamer aficionado, I am super happy to use these babies to stir my creamer into my ghost mug this month!

Pumpkin Spice Lip balm from Fiction Bath Co. You had me at pumpkin spice … amiright? I have being wanting to try out some products from Fiction Bath Co, so I was super stoked to get this item this month! Further it is vegan – so this allergy crazy chicka can go to town without worry! Super hydrating to boot!

Novelly Yours delivered us a Hocus Pocus “Black Flame” candle – with scents of vanilla and bourbon. This candle smells really strongly at first, but is much milder while burning … just be careful you don’t accidentally call up those pesky Sanderson sisters!

Death before DNF enamel bookmark from Lapels & Spells. This sentiment is definitely one that this bookworm relates to … I hate Dnf’ing books! I love the super cute and cheeky design of this enamel bookmark which will look perfect peeking out of my spooky reads this month.

The monthly enamel pin was designed by The Pickety Witch and gives nod to the rose garden that plays a prominent role in this month’s book pick.

September’s book pick was Horrid by Katrina Leno which came signed, with an exclusive cover, an author letter, and incredible artwork on the reverse dust jacket! This creepy cover is definitely putting me in the Halloween spirit!

October’s theme is Legends & Lore – featuring a contemporary fantasy with Arthurian legends, secret societies and, of course, magic.
