Cozy fantasy is where I’ve been living since I picked up Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries in January. I didn’t realize it was what my weary, tired, short-attention-span mind needed. If you’re similarly struggling to stay engaged with your reading, I highly recommend a cozy fantasy.

And therefore, my jolly read pick for March 2023 is Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater! A hilarious, fantasy fae meets regency romance. Half of Dora’s soul was taken by a faerie when she was a little girl and it is causing all kinds of havoc in her courting life. For it’s very difficult to be a proper lady when you don’t give a fig about what comes out of your mouth! But she makes an unlikely ally in the similarly bold & cantankerous Lord Sorcier – the royal wizard. As they work together to hunt down the cause of an evil curse affecting the children of London, well, maybe their ally ship might become something more? You’ll have to read to find out! The banter is amazing in this one friends!
