If you’ve been around this site a few times, you’ll know I have a love for all things stars, moons, galaxies and celestial. So November’s OwlCrate theme had me at hello, but the fandoms, goodies, and book pick really sent it above and beyond … to a galaxy far far away… did that work? 

Anyway, let’s dive in:

First up, we have the fourth, and last, tin in the 2021 collectible book tin series based on V.E. Schwab’s A Darker Shade of Magic series designed by Forensics and Flowers … which reminds me every time that I need to get on finishing this series!

Fiction Bath Co created a Sangria lip balm inspired by The Bone Season. This is without a doubt my favourite lip balm they’ve done yet, I am obsessed and use it every single day. Smells amazing and feels luxuriously hydrating on the lips!

For all you ACOMAF/ACOTAR fans out there, you’re going to fall in love with this lovely full sized pillowcase designed by Book Babe Designs. I mean, who doesn’t love this quote? Such a good part of of the book! I’m probably due for a reread of that one soon …

Strange the Dreamer Washi Tape … two of my favourite things: Anything Strange the Dreamer + stationery. Win-win. This beautifully designed, dreamy washi tape was designed by the talented Kim Carlika Art. 

Note: this box was supposed to include the highly anticipated yearly reading journal, but due to the ongoing shipping drama that is our world, it has been delayed. Not to worry, this will be included in a future box or shipped to you. Details will be coming soon when the planners arrive! 

The monthly pin, as always, was designed by Icey Designs, who drew inspiration from the cursed mountain village in this month’s book. Which is …

Dreams Lie Beneath by Rebecca Ross! When I learned Rebecca had a new book coming out in 2021, I sincerely hoped it could be an OwlCrate monthly pick and here we are! Wishes can come true 😉 This insanely beautiful, completely redesigned, exclusive cover was designed by Chatty Nora and I’m in love with all the little details and insignia. But wait, there’s more! This special edition also included reversible dust jacket artwork, done by Dri Gomez, a beautiful foil stamp on the hardback, signed by the author and an included author letter! 

I loved this box – one of my favourite of the year (especially when we get that planner in our hands!) and I’m so excited to dive into this month’s read. Which has been touted as a combo of The Night Circus and The Hazel Wood – should be fabulous!
