I love the theme for this month’s OwlCrate Jr. box! Blame it on my Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland loving heart, but a twisted fairytale is right up my alley! Here is what was included this month:

Speaking of Alice … every April box included a paperback Puffin Chalk Series copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland! I love the designs of this series, and this copy looks absolutely perfect on the shelf with the previous copies OwlCrate Jr. has sent out: Pippi Longstocking and The Wizard of Oz. 

Stationery lovers fill this house and so I’m always happy when our box includes some new stationery goodies … especially from OwlCrate Jr. because how can you not smile when looking at these doubled ended berry scented highlighters from Ooly? I mean… they are shaped like little candies!! 

Every book lover needs multiple totes – you never know when a trip to the library or bookstore is warranted! This Fairy Tale Tote Bag features a quote from Neil Gaiman’s Coraline and was designed by OwlCrate Jr.

Speaking of items all booklovers can never use enough of? Bookmarks! This gorgeous Jumbies inspired wooden bookmark was designed by @letterk8. I love all the colours and the two sided design is really special. 

My cat-obsessed little was really please with this month’s character trading card in the 2022 collection designed by Andrew Kolb.

Finally, April’s book pick is …. The Mirrorwood by Deva Fagan! My daughter is very happy that this was this month’s pick as she really enjoys this author’s stories and this beautiful OwlCrate Jr special edition is just gorgeous! From the exclusive cover, to the amazing reversible dust jacket artwork by Laura Trinder, to the amazing exclusive foiling on the hardback designed by Lichen & Limestone. The book also came signed with a letter from the author! A truly deluxe edition!!
