Even though this box was massively delayed in the mail this month, it was well worth the wait! We got an apron!! Here’s a look at what was included in the July “Date With Destiny” box:
A Raven Cycle inspired apron, designed by Tes (@paperbackbones). I am so excited to finally have an OwlCrate apron, I’ve been hoping to see one in a box for such a long time! They didn’t disappoint, delivering as always, such a high quality item. The fact that it is Raven Cycle and gives homage to my favourite group of ladies at 300 Fox Way is just icing on the cake.
Mug time! Continuing with the ongoing Harry Potter mug collection we received this awesomely designed addition based on book six of the series. Designed by the talented Cara Kozik, these mugs are always such a treat.
Riddle’s Tea Shoppe “Sour Cherry Scones” tea blend based on Simon Snow’s favourite breakfast food from Carry On. While this is a series I still need to read, it is always a treat when OwlCrate pairs up with Riddle’s Tea. They make such awesome quality tea blends, amazing packaging, and most importantly, they are very allergy aware – including teas that are gluten free, nut free, soy free and caffeine free! So this allergy plagued bookworm can enjoy with no worries.
The Hunger Games inspired arrow shaped paperclips, also designed by Tes (@paperbackbones). I’ve received many kitschy shaped paperclips in the past and they are usually pretty useless, as cute as they are. But these paperclips are actually really great quality and sturdy, OwlCrate always comes through with quality. They personally test every product they include to make sure of it!
Wooden Star Wars double sided bookmark from In The Reads. I loved Star Wars: The Force Awakens … I mean, Rey is one kick-butt lady Amiright? This is a really cool bookmark to add to my collection!
The monthly enamel pin was inspired by the bold cover of Goddess in the Machine (this month’s book pick) and was designed by Jubly Umph.
July’s book pick, Goddess in the Machine, came with an amazing exclusive cover, gold foil gilded edges, gold foiling on the hardback, signed by the author, and with an author letter!! I mean, OwlCrate simply slays it in the exclusive book category!
Full of excellent quality products and an amazing, deluxe special edition book, OwlCrate always delivers on maximum value for your dollar. I loved this month’s apron and their mugs are simply the best in the book box industry … in my humble opinion 🙂
