Well, the calendar says it is May … in the year that wasn’t … and so I shall share my new Currently article & playlist. Let me just say I am an itty-bitty bit obsessed with this month’s playlist. I created it to invoke the May long weekend feeling of cabin life … I mean, if I was lucky enough to have a cabin. I imagine playing this playlist with all the doors & windows open, people milling in and out, the smell of sunscreen and BBQ, cold glasses of lemonade, the sound of lawn mowers and distant boats, the gentle breeze through the newly sprouted leaves and of course, the lapping of waves on the lake.
This is the playlist that captures May long weekend and the kick off to summer.
Currently Reading: Listening to The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes and reading Writers & Lovers by Lily King (both are stupidly good).
Currently Loving: Animal Crossing. The obsession has attached to me and I am an island building fiend now. Is it wrong that I envy my Animal Crossing character’s life … or that when I see butterflies in real life I feel the need to grab a net and sell them for bells?
Currently Watching: Rewatching The Office.
Currently Making: Continuing on my journey of gluten free, vegan baking I have now switched to cakes and can’t wait to share my Cookies n’ Cream Chocolate Cake I made for Mother’s Day.
