Good things come to he who waits … or something like that! November’s OwlCrate Jr. box got majorly delayed on its way to me but it was well worth the wait – it is such an amazing box! (Okay, my dragon loving heart maaaaaay be a wee bit biased) Here’s what was inside:
A Mug! I love when OwlCrate & OwlCrate Jr. include mugs – they are such great quality and the absolute perfect hot chocolate mugs, holding in those marshmallows with their perfect little edges. This gorgeous The Hobbit inspired mug was designed by the incomparably talented artist Cara Kozik and I am absolutely smitten. Smaug 4ever baby!
My puzzle loving kiddo was super excited to get this 3D Dragon puzzle kit from Eugy! So excited she assembled it before I had a chance to even film an unboxing … but anyhoo. This is a really fun craft, not too challenging, and the finished 3D dragon will look awesome peeking out from your bookshelves!
When I heard the theme for this box I just hoped I’d see something, ANYTHING, Toothless and I couldn’t be happier with this Toothless keychain, inspired by the How to Train Your Dragon series by Cressida Cowell. Isn’t he just adorable? This enamel keychain was designed by the talented Four Seasons Fox.
I’ve said it so many times, but I could receive bath products and candles in every box and be absolutely content. Whipped Up Wonderful does the most amazing bath products and I’m always thrilled when I see one in an OwlCrate Jr. box! Everything always smells so amazing and this Jasmine Green Tea dragon egg bath bomb is no exception, inspired by the supremely amazing graphic novel series The Tea Dragon Society.
Of all these amazing goodies, this Wings of Fire bookmark was my eleven year olds favourite this month! She is a major, major, Wings of Fire fan and was quickly able to rattle off every dragon on this bookmark – she has already put it to work in her current read.
Our monthly collectible adorable reading dragon sticker was designed by Izzy Evans.
Finally the book of the month! The Nightsilver Promise by Annaliese Avery came with an exclusive cover, signed book plate, author letter, AND reversible dust jacket artwork! A truly amazing edition of this new fantasy trilogy middle grade! I can’t wait to get reading – watch for the monthly book club discussion coming in January as I’ll be helping to host the read along! Participate and you could win a free OwlCrate Jr. box!!
