It just wouldn’t be fall without a good dark academia box! I’m so glad OwlCrate delivered us a box full of Dark Academia fandoms and a new DA book to devour – here’s a look inside this month’s box! If you’re interested in a subscription, remember to use code TALES15 to save yourself 15% off a new subscription!

Tes (@paperbackbones) has got you covered next time you need to transport some snacks to work/school/road trip with this Atlas Six inspired bento box. I love the elasticized strap that has a special notch to hold each of the included utensils! This also works great as a tupperware for leftovers!

This year OwlCrate has been delivering some redesigned classics by @rena.illustration and October’s box featured the next book in this series, The Secret Garden. Past selections have included Frankenstein and Pride & Prejudice. Look for more OwlCrate Classics to appear in 2023!

I love Janine Lecour’s designs and always get excited to see her creations in the monthly box! This month’s item, a glasses case holder inspired by We Were Villains, was such a needed item for me as my sunglasses case was falling apart. Love the design and adored the book, so this is a win-win item for me!

My daughter snatched this Zodiac Academy ID Case to hold her school ID. This would be great for bus passes, lunch passes, or library cards! Designed by Team OwlCrate.

We all need more bookmarks, where do they disappear to? This month’s woodmark features quotes from past OwlCrate book pick, A Lesson in Vengeance, as well as dark academia cult classic, The Secret History. Designed by @thebitterseason.

Lastly, the 10th Literary Luggage enamel pin in the 2022 collection from Hey Atlas Creative takes us to the super creepy mansion in Gallant. Have I said it before? I l-o-v-e these pins this year!

And the book! October’s book pick was The Whispering Dark by Kelly Andrew which came with a completely redesigned cover by Tes (amazing job Tes!), who also designed the foil stamps on the front and back hardcover. This amazing signed edition also came with endpapers designed by Lindsay Hook, reversible dust jacket artwork by Kid Bui, and an included author letter.

Make sure to grab a box in the shop at www.owlcrate.com!
