I was so thrilled when OwlCrate announced they’d be doing a special edition box celebrating the 10 year anniversary of The Scorpio Races. Maggie Stiefvater is one mega talented lady and her method of lyrical writing just leaves me spellbound. If you haven’t picked up this amazing story, November is definitely the time to do so! No need to compete in the harrowing races, Iron and Ink Designs has crafted this super official looking Scorpio Races Participant Enamel Pin just for OwlCrate readers. It’s so shiny and you all know I’m mega obsessed with all things shiny and sparkly!

The fictional island setting of Thisby is as much a character in The Scorpio Races as the demonic, ocean horses themselves. Sylvan Designs has created this faux vintage style poster that expertly captures the cliffs and ominous setting of Thisby (shown in unboxing above).

Saving my favourite item for last! This Lichen and Limestone wood wick candle smells like a jar of pure maple syrup. Inspired by the infamous November Cakes from Palsson’s Bakery, this candle is almost too delicious to burn! 

Finally, the main event! The gorgeous 10th Anniversary Collectors Edition of The Scorpio Races, which came with a completely exclusive OwlCrate cover, foiling on the hardback designed by @paperbackbones, beautiful reversible dust jacket artwork painted by author Maggie Stiefvater herself, signed, with an author letter bound in the book, AND an exclusive bonus chapter!
