Beginning on the last day of school before summer break Penny, and the townspeople of Sparrow, Oregon are preparing for the beginning of the Swan season. As the legend goes, the three Swan sisters, who were tried as witches and murdered 200 years ago by the citizens of Sparrow return every year on June 1st to possess the bodies of local girls and lure boys to a watery death.
Penny, along with the cute new boy in town, work together to unravel the secrets of this curse and hopefully break it once and for all. Of course there is romance, magic, and a big dose of summer-in-a-small-town goodness along the way.
