OwlCrate typically treats us all to a deliciously spooky box to kick off our spooky season reading, and I’m so glad this year was no exception … even if I haven’t read any of the fandoms this month!! Let’s take a look …
This beautiful lantern was inspired by Gallant, with lovely engraved glass panels designed by NoOne Designs. I love that it includes a battery operated candle and is all ready to go! This little lantern looks so cute peeking out from my bookshelf and fits right in with Halloween decor.
While I haven’t read A Monster Calls, I’m still finding great use for this travel-sized jewelry box designed by @ravenpagesdesign. I keep this little box on my night stand and it holds the rings and necklaces I use most in my rotation.
I looooove getting candles and Flick the Wick candles are especially nice because of their signature sparkly wax pool! I love all things sparkly. This month’s scent was inspired by Gideon the Ninth and is a masculine, clean and lightly musky combination of sea salt, musk, amber, cardamom, and citrus.
Tes (@paperbackbones) designed this handy bag holder inspired by this month’s theme – Memento Mori – to use when you’re next at a restaurant or coffee shop and want to keep your bag off the grungy floor. Put the designed base on the flat table with the hook hanging beneath and voila!
Lichen & Limestone designed a canvas, drawstring backpack inspired by Stalking Jack the Ripper to help you on your next book haul, grocery trip, or gym run!
This month’s literary luggage pin by Hey Atlas Creative was inspired by a book that is always on my “I’m so ashamed I haven’t read this yet” TBR pile – An Ember in the Ashes! Such a gorgeous pin, really has me wanting to read it!!
Finally, the book of the month – The Depths by Nicole Lesperance. This book came with an exclusive cover redesigned by Forensics and Flowers, printed hardcover case artwork by Golden Rose Art, reversible dust jacket artwork by Rudebeetle, and beautiful, foiled end papers. The book also came signed by the author and with an included author letter!
Some boxes of Memento Mori are still available in the shop at www.owlcrate.com.
